46th NCAB Seminar

September 13-14, 2023: Source Center, Inc. was a Participating Exhibitor at the NCAB AALAS Annual Seminar in Ellicott City, Maryland. The theme of this year’s Seminar was “Research Opens Doorsâ€. The event’s program included; Speakers, Posters, Workshops and Exhibitors.

The National Capital Area Branch (NCAB) is the local affiliate of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). The Mission of NCAB AALAS includes;

  • Promote the aims and interest of AALAS at the branch level
  • Sponsor training courses, workshops and seminars for those working in the field
  • Provide public outreach information on the use of animals in research
  • Promote exchange of information between persons working in the field of laboratory animal science and cooperate with other local branches for the same purpose
  • Promote improvements in the care and humane use of laboratory animals
  • Recognize outstanding persons in the field of laboratory animal science
  • Provide current information on laboratory animal science to its members, other branches, AALAS, and any interested members of the general public, news media or governmental organizations
  • Support other local branches and non-profit organizations with similar goals
